AudioQuest HDMI installer series offers five cables per package in .6 meter, 1.0 meter, 1.5 meter, 2.0 meter, 3.0 meter, 5.0 meter lengths. This is especially handy for professional installation companies and “do it yourself” enthusiasts.
SOLID LONG-GRAIN COPPER (LGC) COPPER CONDUCTORS: Solid conductors eliminate inter-strand distortion and reduce jitter. AudioQuest’s Long-Grain Copper (LGC) allows a smoother and clearer sound than cables using regular OFHC (Oxygen-Free High-Conductivity) copper. OFHC is a general metal industry specification regarding “loss,” without any concern for distortion. LGC has fewer oxides within the conducting material, less impurities, less grain boundaries, and definitively better performance.
SOLID HIGH-DENSITY POLYETHYLENE INSULATION: Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation, circuit board materials all absorb energy (loss). Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. High-density Polyethylene insulation ensures critical signal-pair geometry while minimizing insulation induced phase distortion.
HIGH SPEED DATA CAPACITY: All AudioQuest HDMI cables are High Speed with Ethernet up to 10 meters and all will transfer 1080p/120Hz/3D video. All AQ HDMI cables will deliver 100% of the data required for 120Hz/240Hz/600Hz displays and all contain the 5th twisted pair for the Audio Return Channel option.
ETHERNET AND AUDIO RETURN CHANNEL: All AudioQuest HDMI cables include the 5th twisted pair of conductors required to support the Audio Return channel feature and Ethernet connectivity. In fact, all AudioQuest HDMI cables up to 10 meters are rated High Speed with Ethernet. From 12 meters to 20 meters AudioQuest HDMI cables are Standard Speed with Ethernet.
DIRECTIONALITY: All audio cables are directional. The correct direction is determined by listening to every batch of metal conductors used in every AudioQuest audio cable. All signal conductors controlled for digital-audio direction in AudioQuest HDMI cables, and care is even taken to run the conductors used in the Audio Return Channel in the opposite direction to ensure the best performance for that application. Arrows are clearly marked on the connectors to ensure superior sound quality.
